Atolye Ren takes a unique approach to sizing through offering three different sizing conventions (Fit to Size, Relaxed Fit, and Oversize Fit) for our garments.
Oversize Fit garments are intentionally designed with the wider silhouette. We use the OS sizing convention for comfortable and oversized fit garments. This convention helps us design more inclusive and adjustable patterns for various body shapes and measurements Please feel free to choose how you wish to wear an oversize fit garment and decide on sizing according to your taste. If you prefer wider silhouettes, you can choose a larger option than the recommended size, and if you prefer narrower silhouettes, you can choose a smaller size.
Relaxed Fit garments are designed with the intention of providing a comfortable yet elegant fit. Although not as wide as oversize patterns, these garments have a more generous fit through the body, allowing for ease and comfort throughout the day. You can choose the size by referring to your bust, waist, or hip measurement, depending on the garment type. You can choose a size one larger or smaller than the recommended size in the size guide, depending on the level of comfort you desire.
Fit to Size garments are designed to fully enclose the body for a tailored appearance. You can choose the size by referring to your bust, waist, or hip measurement, depending on the garment type. We offer an extended size range for Fit to Size garments, from 32 to 50.
It’s completely normal for your Ren size to differ from other brands, as our sizing is unique to our garments. We have developed these sizing methods and adjustable pattern drafting techniques through years of R&D studies, including feedback from our users. Additionally, you have the freedom to choose a different size than our chart recommends if it feels more comfortable for you.
